High Street Place to open in March 2022
Opening of a Nashville-inspired restaurant and theater district concert hall
Little fingers in the air!
“The Alice: An Immersive Cocktail Experience” will appear at The Merchant next year, bringing a Mad Hatter snack to the downtown restaurant and bar.
Although the concept bar made its debut in Australia, it has since spread to cities across the United States including Denver, New York, San Francisco, and St. Louis. It debuts in Boston at The Merchant on February 17 and will run until March 31.
Each ticket ($ 43 / person) includes a 90-minute rabbit hole experience, where guests can create their own bespoke cocktails and enjoy an “Eat Me!” Cupcake, while solving puzzles, participating in treasure hunts and interacting with the Mad Hatter, March Hare and White Rabbit.
A quick peek at the themed bar’s social media pages shows lavishly decorated event spaces, complete with oversized hats, flamingos and other accessories that can only be created for Instagram moments. Smoke rises from tea cups, the Cheshire Cat’s smiling face smiles eerily on tables filled with flowers, and Alice in Wonderland costumes are adopted by staff and attendees alike.
Watch the video below for a more in-depth look at Wonderland and purchase tickets for the event here. Can’t make it to the tea party? The Boston area has its own Alice in Wonderland themed tea room: Alice in the Village in Foxborough.
