The Vannes banks circuit offers a beautiful 9.5 km loop. (AFDEC for Bretagne Magazine)

1- Departure from Conleau

South of Vannes, just after the Conleau campsite, take advantage of a large car park on the left to park your vehicle. Cross Avenue du Maréchal-Juin and reach the coastal path which follows the windings of Vincin. Against the wooded backdrop of the Arradon coastline, the city stroll offers a beautiful iodized breath opening onto the Gulf.

2- The street on the island of Arz

At the exit of the coastal path, leave the GR markings to follow the yellow markings. Take rue de l’île d’Arz for a few meters. Take the path below the road and continue until the traffic lights. Take, on the right, the street parallel to the boulevard for 500 m.

3-The Cliscouët district

Turn right and take the path lined with shrubs which heads south into the Cliscouët district, relying on the serious and regular markings, in the plant corridors which wind between the houses. Take avenue du Maréchal-Juin on the left for 50 meters.

4- Along the circuit

Follow the signs which take a street on the right, continue in the green space and go around the Maison de la Nature and the Salines housing estate.

5- The old marsh and the estuary

At the exhibition center roundabout, take the path on the right, before the stream, then reach the second footbridge, go around the old marsh and reach the estuary.

6- Conleau Island and the Séné Peninsula

The path circumscribes the site of Pointe des Émigrés, a pleasant protected area on the edge of the Vannes urban area. We walk along the conservatory orchard, which gives pride of place to old local varieties of apples. The trail offers an ideal view of the island of Conleau and the Séné peninsula.

7- Between strike and Belle Époque villas

Take a tour of the charming peninsula. Between the shore and Belle Époque villas, near the pier for the island of Arz, take advantage of the escape into the Port-Anna gully. It is then time to return to the starting point of your hike.
