I prefer to travel by train when I can – even if it means making a trip at night.
In addition to being more sustainable than driving or flying, travel by train gave me an unrivaled view of the world, the landscapes changing every second. And being stuck in a train for long periods forces me to sit and do nothing, which I do not often prioritize in my daily life.
It all started in October 2021 when I made two 30 -hour Amtrak rides between Miami and NYC. I passed my walk in Miami in bedroom accommodation and reserved a room for the house.
Then, in 2022 and 2023, I made two train trips to Europe, where I spent a total of 65 hours out of four night trains in Berlin, Vienna, Paris and Venice in the night trains d ‘Obb Federal Railway with Litits Cabins and Luxurious Venice Simplon-Oienant-Express.
