The Union’s Interior Minister, Amit Shah, said Naxalism on Thursday would be eliminated from the country by March 31, 2026 and that the Central Armed Forces (CAPF) and the CRPF will play a major role in IT.
It was addressed to the function of the day of the elevation of the 86th of the day of the central reserve (CRPF) in the Neemuch district of Madhya Pradesh.

The event is part of the celebrations of the 86th day of the ESGF elevation, said an official press release.
CRPF day was celebrated every year on March 19, because it was that day in 1950 that the flag was presented to force by the Minister of the Interior of the time, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
This year, the parade took place on April 17 as part of the prolonged celebrations, the statement said.
