A 63 -year -old American tourist was seriously injured after being attacked by a shark while fishing fishing in the Bahamas announced on Sunday, local authorities announced.
The Bahamas Royal Police Forces said in a shared Facebook statement that the attack took place shortly after 1 p.m. near Big Grand Cay on the island of Abaco. Officials said the man had suffered serious injuries and had been taken to a local clinic for medical assistance. He was then transported by plane to the United States for additional treatment.
