American Idol Alum Mandisa’s Cause of Death Revealed

New information has emerged regarding Mandisait goes.

After the old American idol candidate (real name Mandisa Lynn Hundley) was found dead in her home on April 18 at the age of 47, authorities have determined the cause of her death.

Mandisa died of complications from class III obesity, according to an autopsy obtained by People.

Class III obesity “is a complex chronic disease in which a person has a body mass index (BMI) of 40 or more or a BMI of 35 or more and suffers from obesity-related health problems,” according to the Cleveland Clinic.

The report also said she was found by friends on April 18 and “was last known alive approximately three weeks” earlier. His manner of death was considered natural.

E! News reached out to the coroner for more information but has not received a response.

Mandisa’s agent announced her death on April 19, telling E! News in a statement: “We can confirm that yesterday Mandisa was found deceased in her home.”
