Amazon wants its NFL coverage to come in different flavors

Amazon Inc. is looking to attract new audiences to its “Thursday Night Football” coverage by bringing in a group of guys known for their comedic routines and special moves for some of its games.

This upcoming season will mark the first time that Amazon’s Prime Video streaming service will have exclusive rights to Thursday’s National Football League games. The company has hired an acclaimed advertiser Al Michaels will host its main stream, but also plans to offer different simultaneous streams in an effort to reach Prime Video viewers who might not be typical NFL fans.
