Amazon plans James Bond “Fresh” but will respect 007 inheritance

We still do not know who will be the next James Bond, but the new owners of 007, Amazon MGM, say that they work hard on the next film in London and that they will offer a “fresh” version of the franchise and will honor “the inheritance of this emblematic character”.

The Bond Goldfinger’s anthem welcomed guests in the Las Vegas Theater Colisheum for the very first appearance of Amazon MGM Studio in Cinemacon – increased anticipation – but there were very few bond news in a differently star window for the streaming giant.

Pascal and Heyman are behind two of the most successful franchises in the history of cinema, Spider-Man for Pascal and Harry Potter for Heyman.

Amazon MGM has shown many other films, including the Epic Space Epic project by Ryan Gosling, Hail Mary, in which he plays a reluctance astronaut charged with saving humanity.

And Chris Pratt showed mercy when she was attached to a chair on stage, usurped her film on an AI justice system which is a judge, jury and executioner and gives him 90 minutes to prove that he did not kill his wife.

While the cinemas have trouble calling on the public and many consumers stay at home and watch YouTube, the leaders of Amazon MGM have said on the crowd to the theatrical experience several times.

Mike Hopkins, the chief of Amazon MGM and Prime Video, said that they had remained optimistic about the cinema and that they planned to make 15 films per year by 2027 and that they already have 14 films ready to be released in 2026.

“It really testifies to our belief in the future of theatrical cinematographic activity,” he said.
