Amazon CEO Andy Jassy shared his “best career advice” with LinkedIn CEO Ryan Roslansky in a new interview.
It’s not just about knowledge, he says, but rather having a good attitude.
“I think an embarrassing part of your performance, especially in your 20s, has to do with your attitude,” he told Roslansky.
But that doesn’t just mean it’s easy to get along, he explained. It’s also about how hard you work, whether you can work as a team, whether you stick to what you say you’re going to do, and whether you’re a positive person rather than a naysayer.
“People would be surprised how rarely people have good attitudes,” he said, even though it may seem “simple.”
