Amanda Seyfried reacts to Elizabeth Holmes starting 11 years in prison

Amanda Seyfried weighs on Elizabeth Holmes‘ new reality—life behind bars.
The actress, who played the former Theranos CEO in the 2022 TV series The stallshared his thoughts on Holmes starting his 11-year prison sentence on May 30, the same day Seyfried appeared on hello america.
“I feel for these kids,” Seyfried said of Holmes’ kids –William22 months and Invicta3 months—with whom she shares Billy Evans. “There are two kids at stake here, as a parent I’m like – as a mother – I don’t know.”
And for Holmes herself, Seyfried had a few words to say about justice. “Life isn’t fair,” Seyfired added, “but in many ways it’s fair, for her in particular.”
Her comments came hours after Holmes went to a women’s prison camp in Bryan, Texas to serve her sentence for her role in the Theranos fraud case. She was convicted of one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and three counts of wire fraud in January 2022, more than seven years after the the wall street journal reported that his blood startup’s technology was flawed. (She pleaded not guilty and was acquitted of four other counts.)
