This blizzard brought me back to the childhood of days at my grandmother.
I would often dig at the back of the freezer in search of chocolate pestle treats, only to devour an entire cone in a few minutes. And each time, my fingers (and the ground) would end up covered with a melted disorder.
Years later, I’m still a fan of the pests, but I rarely eat them to avoid treating this mess. Fortunately, DQ solved this problem by creating a blizzard with pieces of pestle mixed in that I can enjoy with the convenience of a spoon.
And let me tell you that it did not disappoint. As is the case with most of its blizzards, the vanilla ice cream made the perfect base, accentuating the chocolate-niet-listle flavor of the peanut cap in mixtures. The peanut was definitely the predominant flavor, but it was not so overwhelming that I had not tasted chocolate.
However, I hope that the peanut pieces are larger because they continued to get stuck in my teeth. I understand that peanuts on a pestle are tiny as they are, so there was no change.
However, if you are looking for a peanut butter dessert that is not too chocolate or soft, try this blizzard.
