Alijah Arenas, a validation of basketball from the USC and sons of the ex-star of the NBA Gilbert Arenas, was placed in an induced coma after a car accident on Thursday morning, according to Shams Charania of Espn.
Arenas, 18, was transported urgently to Los Angeles hospital after having crushed his Tesla Cybertruck, leaving the vehicle “completely mutilated on the side of the road”, according to TMZ.
The point of sale reports that the car was “on fire” when emergency speakers were called to the scene at 4:55 am, with arenas taken on the scene in “serious condition”.
Details concerning the accident are still emerging.
Arenas, a five-star college of 18 stars from the Chatsworth Secondary School in California, is committed to Trojan horses in January for the 2025-26 season, a decision he revealed on the podcast “Gil’s Arena” by his father.

His father, Gilbert Arenas, was a triple all-star of the NBA and was appointed the most improved player in the League in 2003.
During a career of 12 seasons extending over 5,522 games with Golden State, Washington, Orlando and Memphis, he collected an average of 20.7 points, 5.3 assists and 3.9 rebounds.
