Alexis promises that Ava will regret crossing her

It’s a new day at Brook Lynn and Chase’s house. Chase must meet his brother today and support him as his father’s will will be read. He also wants to make sure he doesn’t reach for another drink.

Chase knows this isn’t how they should spend their honeymoon. Brook Lynn says they will get to Italy one day and what is important now is to be there for Finn and their family.

Finn stops by Alexis. They kiss and she is sad that she missed the wedding. Finn told him it wasn’t perfect, but it was close. There was a point where he thought his father wouldn’t be able to finish, but Tracy and Violet got him back on track. Alexis cries. She is so happy that Gregory’s last day was wonderful and they kiss again.

Finn tells him how it happened, the events of the day and that he drank a third of a bottle of bourbon. Alexis isn’t shocked because he slipped the night before, and he woke up to a tragic loss, so he had a reason to break his sobriety. He says that doesn’t excuse what he did. Alexis says she’s learned that apologies aren’t worth much. He knows she has suffered a loss too. She admits that she wanted to drink, but she didn’t. She thinks it might be a two-a-day sort of meeting for them for a while. He agree. He was at a meeting this morning and he won’t drink again. She said, “For now.” Alexis tells him to always remember that they are together.

Diane comes by later. She says she feels sorry for Gregory. Alexis explains that she called him last night and found out about him thanks to Chase. Alexis asks if there is anything from the court of appeal. Diane said not yet, but they argued forcefully that her disbarment was not about the law but Ava and Fergus’ need for revenge. She plans to file a harassment complaint against him later today. Alexis tells him about meeting Fergus and how she thinks it’s about his guilt over being separated from his two brothers when they died. She doesn’t know why her guilt is directed at her when Harmony killed her brothers. Diane has a meeting with Finn about Gregory’s will, and Alexis is glad she kept her despite what happened with Finn and the hospital trial. Diane notes that Alexis is mentioned in the will, so she would like to attend. Alexis has a meeting with Ava to put her through hell, and she already knows that Gregory wanted her to be the literary executor of his will. She really wished she had gone to the wedding to be with Gregory in his last happy moments.

At the hospital, Finn finds Liz in the rest room. He apologizes for the way he treated her and wishes he had the words to tell her how sorry he is. He says Chase talked to him all night and he goes to meetings. Liz thanks him for saying what he did, and she wasn’t trying to take him on, but she had to put Violet first. Finn understands. Liz is happy, because he didn’t seem to understand yesterday.

Liz says that Violet has always been his first concern, but yesterday he acted like she was something that belonged to him and that she couldn’t stand. She had never seen this side of him before, and she never thought he was capable of it. Finn promises that she will never see that side of him again and thanks her for taking care of Violet. He gets a text, Chase is there and they meet Diane in her office to read her father’s will.

Chase and Finn meet in his office. Finn tells his brother that he went to a meeting this morning and Chase is happy. He trusts her to take care of him and Violet. Diane arrives to read the will, and in it, Gregory names Chase the executor. Chase is a little shocked. She goes on to say that Alexis will be her executor. He wants his sons to share his estate, except for his library, which goes to Violet. He also asks to be cremated and that his ashes be scattered near his favorite tree in the park. He wants them to focus on life, not death or a hole in the ground. Chase and Finn agree to carry out his last wishes.

Later, Liz visits Finn, who is catching up on paperwork. She asks about the will and he tells her that his father wants an outdoor memorial service instead of a funeral. Liz says it looks wonderful and asks when her next meeting is. He says in an hour. Liz offers to pick Violet up from school. Finn thanks her.

Chase returns home and tells Brook Lynn about the will. He says he was named executor, which he thought would go to Finn, but maybe his father didn’t want Finn to struggle even more. He says he has to carry out his father’s wishes and help Finn and Violet get through all of this. Brook Lynn jokes that it’s so horrible that he doesn’t have anyone by his side to help him through this, and they kiss.

Ava bursts into Nina’s office while working with Maxie on the Deception commercials featuring Blaze. Ava tells Nina that she broke their agreement and didn’t put her artist in the magazine. Nina says she will publish her artist in the next issue. She says she had to make room for an article about Willow’s new job. Ava makes fun of the fact that Willow won’t even talk to her. Nina says she doesn’t know what’s going on in her life anymore, neither with her daughter nor with the new man she’s seeing. Nina tells him to run back and introduce himself to Sonny.

Ava storms out, but not before telling Nina that it’s pathetic that all she has left to do is be the Queen of Crimson. Maxie tells Nina that was crazy and asks why she would upset Ava, who is dangerous. Nina complains that Ava stabbed her and Sonny in the back. Maxie asks if she regrets selling The Metro Court or signing the divorce papers. Nina doesn’t, so Maxie asks why she’s making Ava her enemy. Nina says Ava made an enemy first, and that scowl on her face was worth what she said to her.

Nina continues to complain about Ava. Maxie says this meeting was supposed to be about commercials, but clearly Nina needs to get that out of her system. Maxie brings up the gentleman friend she mentioned and reminds her that Drew is her boss and they don’t like each other, so is the sex really that good? Nina says it’s not about sex and that thanks to Drew, she’s on better terms with Willow. Maxie asks what will happen if temptation returns. Nina says Drew Cain is the opposite of what she calls irresistible. Maxie asks why she can’t resist him.

Joss meets Trina at the gallery. Joss thought she was having the day off. Trina does, and she explains that Ava just said she needed her to open up because she had a meeting at Crimson. They discuss looking for an apartment and Joss wants one near PCU. Trina isn’t sure she’ll go back, but she knows she’s done with her dorm life. The conversation turns to the wedding and Joss says it was beautiful until Sonny attacked Dex at the reception. Joss tells him that she had to take Dex to the emergency room and that he needed stitches. She says it could have been worse if Jason hadn’t taken Sonny away from her.

Ava comes in and tells Joss she shouldn’t spread gossip. Joss says it’s not gossip, she was there, as was Kristina who saw it too and is devastated. Ava says that Kristina is very emotional now that she’s in her third trimester, and it seems that everything has escalated thanks to Jason. Joss defends Jason, and Trina steps in and says this conversation isn’t going anywhere and that she and Joss should go. Joss tells Trina that she’s right, and Ava doesn’t know what happened because she wasn’t invited to the wedding, and she doesn’t understand why.

Later, Alexis stops by and says she ran into an old friend of Ava’s in Albany, Fergus Byrne, the man she hired to get her disbarred. Ava wonders how he’s doing, as she assumes he must be having a good day. Alexis asks why she remained anonymous, because she thought she would be happy to be the known cause of the explosion in her life and career. Ava tells Alexis that she is responsible. Alexis asks why she did that? Ava says she destroyed Julian, that she used his love for her to manipulate him over and over again. Alexis points out that Julian did his share of manipulation.

Ava asks if she still blames Julian for everything that happened to him. Alexis says no, she accuses Ava of getting her disbarred. Ava gloats: “Did I call the bar? Yeah. Did I tell them you committed perjury? Yeah.” Ava tells Alexis that she only has herself to blame because everything she said at the bar was true. Alexis calls her cruel and she only acts in two ways: reject blame everyone else or take it out on her and cause damage Alexis misses practicing law and prosecuting people like her. Whether or not she prevents her license, Ava will regret filing this complaint. bar She walks out, leaving Ava to think about the threat.

Drew stops by the Gatehouse to direct something from Michael. Willow explains that he is taking Wiley to school and should be back soon. Drew also wants to run something through her, but needs her to promise not to tell the rest of the Quartermaines. He tells her about the congressman’s offer to run for his seat, and she thinks he would be perfect for the job.

Drew explains that it would be a huge change and that he would even have a chance to win. Willow thinks the government needs people like him, people who go out of their way to help people. She really hopes he does that and she won’t tell anyone.

Drew admits that the more he thinks about it, the more he likes the idea. However, the campaign could be dirty considering he has just been in prison. She says he paid his dues, was a former Marine, and has the congressman’s support. She loves the sound of Congressman Cain. Drew laughed and said the congressman had something to say about that, too. He thanks her and she says he can thank her by running.

Later General Hospital: Blaze apologizes to someone. Drew asks Willow why she thinks he can do that. Molly asks, “What am I supposed to do?” Spinelli tells Maxie that he must refuse with regret. Dante tells someone he has a decision to make. Sam tells Kristina that she thinks she will do the right thing, even at Sonny’s expense. Sonny approaches Dex in the park, and Dex says that if this is an ambush, then he won’t agree to lie down.
