Alexa PenaVega And Carlos Pena Vega suffered an unimaginable tragedy.
Five months after announcing the pregnancy of Alexa and their fourth baby, the Child spies alum and the Big time Rush the musician shared that their daughter Indy Rex PenaVega was stillborn.
“There are never the right words to say when it comes to loss,” the couple wrote in a joint statement April 15 on Instagram. “After a beautiful and peaceful birth, our daughter ‘Indy’ was born at rest. It has been a painful journey. But in the pain, we have found peace.”
Despite the “difficult season”, Alexa and Carlos, who share children Ocean6, Kingston4, and Rio2 years old – said their late daughter had “already changed our lives in so many ways.”
“The grief came to us in waves,” they continued. “Moments where I feel completely drained…and then times where I feel blessed by just spending a moment with her.”
Although Alexa and Carlos said they “don’t understand why things like this happen,” they believe their time with Indy “took us to a new place.”
