Alex Scott is set to experience something of a career change after landing a job as a presenter on KISS radio.

Scott is known for being a presenter and pundit when covering men’s and women’s football matches, notably on Sky Sports and the BBC.

The former Arsenal player will host her first show on KISS on Sunday at 7pm, during which she will perform two hours of old school anthems.

Speaking about his new role with KISS, Scott told the Mirror: “Everyone knows I love football, but music is just as much a part of who I am and I’m thrilled to be back with the team KISS and dig through my collection to share more Old Skool anthems every Sunday.

“I hope to carry that weekend vibe into Sunday evening and get everyone ready for the new week.”

In a promotional video for her new show, Scott talked about some of her favorite music and recalled listening to The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.

Scott also revealed that the first concert she attended was Mary J Blige’s at Wembley, while she also listened to LL Cool J.

The former England international, who is also a frequent guest presenter on The One Show, will continue her football media commitments.

Last month, Scott was criticized by former footballer Joey Barton for her presentation on Football Focus.

Barton accused Scott of “running Football Focus into the ground”.

Speaking on her podcast Common Sense with Joey Barton, Barton said: “She’s about to set up Football Focus, which is a flagship thing. We have to thank her for that.

“And then people come back and tell me she has a degree in sports journalism. I’m like, ‘Who cares, that’s some fucking shit, who cares?’

“She doesn’t have a degree in anything, she’s a piece of shit.” She has a degree in boring people to death, that’s why they turn off.
