Alex Pereira leaves fans in stitches with reaction to Dana White raising UFC 300 bonuses to $300k

Alex Pereira didn’t do it seem particularly impressed with the new UFC 300 bonuses.

The UFC typically hands out $50,000 in prize money to recipients of “Fight of the Night” and “Performance of the Night” bonuses at their shows.

But at UFC 300, that sum will reach $300,000.

Dana White announced the increase during the UFC 300 finale press conference – much to the delight of the fighters on stage.

Jamahal Hill raised his arms in joy as Kayla Harrison and Calvin Kattar banged the table and clapped.

However, Pereira – never one to make much of a fuss – sat there expressionless as the bombshell fell.

Of course, English is not Pereira’s first language, so he may not have completely understood what White was saying.

Regardless, it certainly made for entertaining viewing for fans.

Reacting to Pereira’s deadpan look, one fan joked: “He forgot to turn off the stove.”

Another joked: “He doesn’t know where he is. He doesn’t know what’s being said. All he knows is that he has to KILL.”

Pereira didn't even smile at the announcement of the new bonuses

A third added: “I was legit waiting to see him get excited just to see it…didn’t let me down lol.”

Meanwhile, a fourth wrote: “Does he ever smile?

Pereira defends his UFC light heavyweight title against Hill in the main event of UFC 300.

The Brazilian MMA star defeated Jiri Prochazka last November to win the vacant belt and will now defend it for the first time on Saturday night.

Hill is essentially the champion in recess after winning the title against Glover Teixeira last year before being forced to vacate it due to injury.

Elsewhere on the bill, Weili Zhang defends his UFC strawweight crown against fellow Chinese Yan Xiaonan while Justin Gaethje and Max Holloway battle for the BMF belt.
