Mitrovic was sent off seconds after his manager suffered the same fate
Fulham were cruising before the home side were awarded a penalty after Willian blocked Jadon Sancho’s shot on goal down the line.
After a VAR review, Chris Kavanagh awarded the kick – after showing Silva a red card for his heated protests as he stared at his pitchside monitor.
Aleksandar Mitrovic then had words with Kavanagh before shoving him and the referee duly sent him off before Willian was shown the red card.
Bruno Fernandes netted the resulting penalty before Marcel Sabitzer overturned the tie moments later.
