Nandamuri Balakrishna’s birthday is just 12 days away and fans are eagerly waiting for an official announcement regarding Akhanda 2 as the project has been in the plans for a long time.
Director Boyapati Srinu has already prepared the basic script of the film. However, it is unclear whether the announcement will be made on Balakrishna’s birthday, June 10.
The problem is that Boyapati was initially supposed to direct a film starring Allu Arjun for Geetha Arts.
However, producer Allu Aravind cleverly persuaded the director to make a film with Nandamuri Balakrishna for their production house instead of Allu Arjun.

Boyapati agreed to this idea and Allu Aravind and Bunny Vaas convinced him to create Akhanda 2 for them.
Meanwhile, original producer Miryala Ravinder Reddy is keen to produce Akhanda 2 under her banner or form an equal partnership with Allu Aravind. This unresolved agreement delayed the project.
It remains to be seen whether everything will be resolved in time for an announcement.
