Philadelphia (WPVI) – The surveillance video reveals how the police were able to locate the Mercedes Noir Stolen of AJ Brown on Monday morning in Camden near the corner of the Louis and Morton streets.
However, the news of the Eagles Star receiver’s car became public when Brown published a video on social networks a few hours earlier.
In the video, Brown says in part: “For whom you are, what I will find soon, I’m going to agree with you, my brother. Bring the whip. I will not bring loads.”
Brown continued by deducting that he and the police were following the vehicle while he was going from Haddonfield to Camden.
Be that as it may, the suspect, identified by the police as Luis Segarra, 25, made the task very easy for the officers. He parked the vehicle a few meters from the place where the County County police officers were already parked to monitor a local construction site.
These officers were informed to be looking for the vehicle and quickly moved.
“The suspect who was inside the vehicle, he fled. It was a short prosecution on foot, but they were able to take care of him on the 1500 block of Mount Ephriam without incident,” said Camden Dep police. Chef Janel Simpson.
All of this took place right outside the house of Bonita Banks-Goodman.
“I was afraid because they had paralyzing pistols and everything. I locked myself in the door because there were a bunch of state soldiers and stuff here,” she recalls.
But the persistent question: did the suspect mention if he knew it was AJ Brown’s car?
“No, not to my knowledge. I don’t think he knew who the car belonged to,” said Simpson.
Police said the vehicle has not been damaged and has since been returned to AJ Brown.
The accusations against Segarra were not officially released.
