AJ Brown opened the cover of his favorite book, “Inner Excellence”, after marking a touchdown during the second quarter of the Super Bowl 2025 against the Chiefs of Kansas City.
Brown put the Eagles on the rise 24-0 just before half-time on a Touché de Jalen Hurts, with him reading a few moments after sitting on the bench.
Brown first drew attention to reading “Inner Excellence” during the team’s joker victory over Green Bay packers last month.
The Eagles wide receiver was seen arguing with his head coach Nick Sirianni, a few minutes before entering the goal area.
While Brown read, Sirianni went to him and smoothed things, both with huge smiles on their faces with the dominant head.
The Eagles led 24-0 at halftime with little resistance from the chiefs.

The author of “Inner Excellence”, Jim Murphy, was invited to an Eagles practice after Brown was seen by reading his book.
The novel skyrocketed in sales after being in the hands of Brown last month. It has become the best -selling novel on Amazon for days.
Brown said last month that he brings Jim Murphy’s book “Inner Excellence” to each match. After the victory against Green Bay, the wide receiver showed his copy of the novel, with passages highlighted and underlined.
The book had also seen a lot of wear, apparently proving that Brown’s story was true.
“It gives me a feeling of peace,” said Brown about reading the book during the Games. “It’s a book that I bring each game.
Such a passage that Brown highlighted in Murphy’s book talks about the place of someone.
“We are so hard with ourselves, by amplifying all our failures and regrets, that we neglect to see what is still possible – a life of freedom, a field with deep content, joy and confidence, independent of circumstances . We are all human, with the same desires and deep concerns.
