Ags Transact Technologies shares make lukewarm debut on BSE and Nse

AGS Transact Technologies got off to a lukewarm start Monday on Dalal Street. On BSE, shares of AGS Transact Technologies debuted at Rs 176 each, a 0.6% premium to the issue price of Rs 175. On NSE, the stock started its run flat at Rs 175.

AGS Transaction Technologies’ debut on Dalal Street was in line with the trend seen in the gray market prior to IPO on BSE and NSE.

On IPO, AGS shares had commanded a gray market premium (GMP) of up to Rs 15, which fell to Rs 5 before listing.

AGS Transact Tech’s IPO was open for subscription from January 19 to January 21. The initial sale of shares saw an aggregate subscription of 7.8 times. The shares were available at auction in a price range of Rs 166-175 each as part of the IPO.

The share reserved for qualified institutional buyers (QIB) was subscribed 2.7 times and that for non-institutional investors (NII) 25.6 times. The quota reserved for retail investors was reserved 3.1 times.

AGS Transact Technologies, based in Mumbai, offers a multitude of customized products and services. The Company operates in payment solutions as well as banking and other automation solutions.
