After Trump’s prices, the actions plunged but memes of penguin checked

This week, the Trump administration made it possible to bring back sweeping prices around the world, causing reprisals from other countries and sending the scholarship. An unexpected consequence? Penguin even.

Images of birds without flight have made their way on the internet this week after President Trump imposed prices on the islands heard and the McDonald Islands, the Australian territories near Antarctica which house many penguins but not people.

A meme included a modified photo of the explosive meeting of the February White House during which Mr. Trump and Vice-President JD Vance publicly clashed with President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine. A person who posted the same wrote: “Maybe that didn’t tell you thank you?” In a possible reference to the accusation of Mr. Vance that Mr. Zelensky had not thanked the United States for the military support that Washington had provided kyiv throughout the war.

A different different same has shown a penguin teacher at the Goélands to target their waste in Teslas, an apparent wink to Mr. Trump’s billionaire advisor, Elon Musk. However, another has shown a huge gathering of penguins with a legend citing “unprecedented demonstrations” on the islands of the island and McDonald’s, “as the population rises” against the taxation by Mr. Trump of in mind prices.

The UNESCO World Heritage Convention notes that “the total absence of extraterrestrial plants and animals, as well as human impact”. However, Mr. Trump included the desolate islands on his list, imposing the basic tariff of 10% which he placed on almost all the goods imported into the United States.

The announcement of Wednesday, which Trump described as the “liberation day” of America, sent shock waves around the world while the allies and opponents rushed to give meaning to the new and heavy prices. This decision has pushed import rights to us at the highest levels for more than a century.
