The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) conceded the defeat in Telangana after counting the trends showed that Congress was approaching a victory in the elections of the 2023 Assembly.
In an article on X, KT Rama Rao said: “Recognizing the inhabitants of Telangana for having given BRS two consecutive government.”
“Congratulations to the Congress Party for winning the mandate,” he wrote.
‘Not saddened but disappointed’
The Minister of Telangana said: “Not saddened by the result today, but surely disappointed because he was not in the lines expected for us.”
“But we will take this in our stride as an apprenticeship and we will bounce back,” he added.
