- Adem Yze has delivered an update to the defender of Richmond Noah Balta
- The 25 -year -old appeared in court on Tuesday for conviction
- Balta had pleaded guilty to an assault by a man in December 2024
Richmond’s coach Adem Yze described Noah Balta as “flat” and “emotional” after the star of tigers receiving a nocturnal curfew by a court.
One day after the conviction of Balta for having attacked a regional NSW man on December 30 of last year, Yze addressed the media of the siege of Richmond Punt RD on Wednesday.
After answering eight questions related to Balta to start the press conference, the communications manager of Richmond, Nicki Malady, has been clumsily intervened and told journalists to “move on”.
“We have finished with Balta, we have a match tomorrow evening,” she told the members of the press.
Richmond has decided not to negotiate the punishment, so Balta will miss the shock this Thursday evening with Melbourne at the MCG.
Balta will also have to ensure the dream match against Essendon on May 23, and a Twilight match against GWS at Stade Engie on May 31 because it would not be able to return from Sydney in time for its curfew.

Balta was sentenced Tuesday before the local Albury court and received a 18 -month community order
The 25-year-old could also miss many other games before his curfew was lifted on July 22 due to the floating match still to be confirmed from the Tour 16.
Balta will not play for the VFL team from Richmond on Thursday either, even if it is a day match against the Demon of Casey.
He also did not follow training on Wednesday.
“(Tuesday) was a big day for him, a long day,” said Yze.
“A three -hour journey for Albury and return.
“We come out of a five -day break (after beating the Gold Coast), so we have to take care of him, take care of his body and he can’t wait to play against hawthorn next week.”
Balta refused to speak to the media following the resolution of his judicial case on Tuesday, Richmond rather published a declaration with quotes awarded to him and to the director general of Tigers, Shane Dunne.
“Obviously, a little worried about what he could say,” said Yze about Balta.

Yze revealed that Balta (illustrated on the left) was `disappointed, flat and emotional ” after the appearance of the court of yesterday

The attack on Balta in December of last year left his victim a bloody disorder (photo) and saw a police prosecutor declared in court that he could have died in the assault
“He is obviously disappointed, he is flat, he is emotional, so we just have to protect him with that.
“He will speak when it is his good time to speak and you will feel how full of remorse.
Richmond’s decision to select Balta against the Suns last Saturday evening, just three days before his conviction, caused a strong reaction.
The great Richmond Jack Riewoldt was among the criticism of the situation management by his former club.
The Tigers have repeatedly called their appeal to bring Balta before his date before the court.
“(Balta) knew that he had hurt and that he was going to be punished,” said Yze.
“So, to go through that (attractive the curfew) for another six weeks, we just thought it was too difficult, not only for him, but on our football club and our game group.
“So we accept the decision and we move on.
