Adidas revealed that it was affected by a cyber attack in which the personal information of customers was stolen.

She advised people who may be assigned to closely monitor bank accounts and credit reports for suspicious activity.
She added that they should also be wary of unexpected phone calls, emails or messages on social networks claiming to refer to the pirat
This occurs while the retailers, including Marks & Spencer and Co-OP, were targeted in major cyber attacks.
In their cases, hacks have seriously compromised commercial operations – there is no indication that something similar has happened with Adidas.
“Adidas recently realized that an unauthorized external part has obtained certain consumption data through a third -party customer service provider,” said the company.
“We immediately took measures to contain the incident and launched a complete survey, collaborating with the main information security experts.
“Adidas is informing potentially affected consumers as well as the appropriate data protection and law authorities in accordance with the applicable law.”
Several cyber-incidents have been reported since April 2025, some experts finding links between them.
The BBC includes British police focus on a notorious group of English -speaking pirates, known as scattered spider, as being potentially behind the M&S cyber attack.
The same group would have been behind hacks on the cooperative and Harrods, but it was M&S which has undergone the greatest impact.
M & S considers cyber-attack will cost the company around 300 million pounds sterlingequivalent to a third of its profit.
There is no suggestion that this group is behind the data violation at Adidas.
But the company revealed earlier this month that it had been faced with data violations in other parts of its world empire-including its Turkish and South Korean weapons.
