Adele has shared some of her major life plans after wrapping up her ‘Weekends With Adele’ residency in Las Vegas.
The singer, 36, has been open about her desire to have more children – and it looks like she and boyfriend Rich Paul will prioritize it very soon.
“Once I’m done with all my obligations and all my shows, I want to have a baby,” the “Easy on Me” hitmaker told the audience during her show Friday, per Daily Mail.
“I want a girl because I already have a boy. I feel like she might be like the person I love most in the world, but also probably the person I hate most in the world. That’s what I think is going to happen. She’s going to put me in my place all the time, isn’t she?
“With me as her mother and Rich as her father, she’s going to be a bossy little queen, right?” » joked Adèle.
Elsewhere during the show, the “Hello” singer sent a sweet thank you to Paul’s daughter, Reonna Simone.
“It’s my daughter-in-law’s graduation this weekend,” she told the crowd, adding that Reonna graduated from Clark Atlanta University. “So, I love you darling.”
The singer became romantically involved with the sports agent in 2021, two years after finalizing her divorce from ex-husband Simon Konecki.
The exes share son Angelo, 11.
In August, Adele told fans she was “ready to be a mom again” – and even picked out a list of baby names.
“I really want to be a mom again soon,” Adele said during her residency at the time. “I actually write lists. “So every time I see a name I like, I write it down on my phone.”
And in 2022, the “I Drink Wine” singer opened up about her dreams of expanding her family in an interview on the BBC’s “Desert Island Discs” podcast.
“I’d really like to have a few more kids,” Adele told host Lauren Laverne, after being asked how she envisions her life in 10 years. “It would be wonderful if we could. Otherwise, I have Angelo. I just want to be happy.”
The 16-time Grammy winner, who last year appeared to confirm that she and Paul had officially tied the knot, said co-parenting with her ex-husband turned out to be an easier feat than she thought. ‘had initially planned.
For his part, Paul is co-parenting his three children after previously stating that he experienced fatherhood at a “very young” age.
In an interview with The New Yorker in 2021, the sports agent said he was “looking forward to being a different father — a more patient father.”
