The owner of a manor lived before by Adele said that the singer’s suggestion that the property was haunted had made him indifferent.

The documents submitted as part of the planning request to the District Council of Horsham show that Sutton bought Lock House in Parridge Green, West Sussex, from a real estate merchant in 2003. He then made considerable renovations to the house, which was built around 1909 and was previously a convent, and also bought “a large part of the surrounding land to improve the privacy of the property”.
He moved at the end of 2011 and put the house on the market for a requested price of 5.75 million pounds sterling (around 8.9 million dollars at the time). Property, Who is listed on many real estate sites, including Rightmove, presents a gym, a swimming pool, tennis courts and a helicopter hangar.

The document explains how the property was rented for other short -term rentals, while several real estate agents also tried to sell it but without success.
The document stipulates that Sutton “actively attempted to sell the property for about 14 years”.
“Complete marketing efforts have been made, in particular brochures, professional photography, advertising in national life, national public relations campaigns and an exhibition on all the main real estate portals”, develops the document. “The only offer received over the years was in August 2020, but the potential buyer retired after learning the supposed haunted status of the property, which was mentioned publicly by Adele during his rental.”
Now Sutton requests authorization to convert the sprawling manor into three separate residential units. He also hopes to transform an existing garage on the site into a separate chalet.
The Horsham district council will decide the fate of the property on an unpertified future date. CNN tried to contact Sutton to comment.
