Adar Gavriel and Yehonatan Elias fell fighting in Gaza
The Israeli army announced on Friday the names of two fallen soldiers in the Gaza Strip.
Sergeant Major (Reserve) Adar Gavriel, 24, from Caesarea, was a fighter of the 6828 Battalion of the Bislach Brigade. Gavriel fell in combat in the northern Gaza Strip.
Sergeant Yehonatan Elias, 20, from Jerusalem, was a combat soldier in the Givati Brigade reconnaissance unit. Elias fell in combat in the southern Gaza Strip.
Combat deaths since the start of the fighting in Gaza
According to the Israeli army, to date, 293 soldiers have been killed in the Gaza Strip since the start of the war in October last year.
Another 3,657 were injured on or since October 7. Of these, 1,843 were injured fighting in Gaza.
