Post-production has begun in New York and the film is expected to be completed later this year.

“Father Mother Sister Brother” is a triptych that follows three separate stories set in different countries and revolving around the relationships between adult children, their somewhat estranged parents, and each other. The first part, “Father”, is set on the east coast of the northeastern United States, “Mother” in Dublin, Ireland, and “Sister Brother” in Paris, France.

Perhaps one of Jarmusch’s most personal films, “Father Mother Sister Brother” is a “comedy woven with threads of melancholy” and “character studies, quiet, observational and non-judgmental,” the film’s description says. movie. The film reunites Jarmusch with Adam Driver, whom he directed in “Paterson” and “The Dead Don’t Die.” Driver is at the Cannes Film Festival to support Francis Ford Coppola’s competition title, “Megalopolis,” in which he stars.

The producers are Charles Gillibert (“Annette”), Joshua Astrachan, Carter Logan and Attila Yücer.
