Actress accused of attack with a fatal weapon

Kim Delaney, better known for her work on the “NYPD Blue” police procedure, was arrested in southern California alongside her partner James Morgan this weekend following an alleged domestic violence incident.

Delaney, 63, and Morgan were apprehended by the authorities on Saturday morning after the police was informed of a “domestic disturbance” in a residence in Los Angeles, confirmed the Sheriff department of Los Angeles on Sunday.

Following a preliminary investigation by deputies, Delaney was arrested for attack with a deadly weapon, while Morgan was arrested for a battery charge.

An incident investigation remains in progress, according to the authorities. Delaney and Morgan’s guard status is not known.

Delaney, who played the detective Diane Russell on “NYPD Blue” from 1995 to 2003, was previously married to actors Charles Grant and Joseph Cortese, of which she divorced in 1994. She shared a son, Jack, with Cortese.

Delaney gave Morgan a sweet cry in October when the actress celebrated the couple’s second wedding anniversary “on social networks. She shared a selfie from the pair with matching hooded sweatshirts, writing on Instagram, “Great Memories! I love you, my husband your wife for life .. 💚💍💚”

This is not the first time that Delaney has encountered legal problems. The actress winner of an EMMY was arrested in January 2002 for suspicion of driving driving, according to Entertainment Weekly, after which she did not argue any competition and was sentenced to two years of probation and a defensive driving course, the magazine reported.

In 2003, Delaney consulted in a rehabilitation clinic to address alcohol dependence, people magazine reported at the time. Two years later, the actress lost custody of her 15 -year -old son after allegedly forced the teenager to accompany him in the car while she was going under influence, according to people.
