Activists call for another “economic breakdown”, it lasts three days. From Friday to Sunday to Sunday (or, for those who celebrate, from Friday to Easter), the organizers call on people to avoid buying anything online or in store from a large company – retailers and restaurants at banks and service stations, reports Yahoo News. The Union USA people, the popular organization coordinating the boycott of expenses, urges people to spend money only for essential purchases and to do so in small local businesses with species rather than on a credit or debit card. Other upcoming boycotts specific to the retailer aim for the greed of companies in general or the companies that have abandoned their diversity, their actions and their inclusion initiatives, according to the organizers. These include Amazon and Walmart Boycotts in May, Target and McDonald’s in June.
In an extended element on consumer boycotts, USA today Note that if the organizers say that the pressure has an effect, the analysis of the impact is mixed. “I always believe that the economic resistance – without retaining our money – targeting specific societies, is our greatest weapon,” explains John Schwarz of the People’s Union. “And now, with things that take place financially and economically, families should participate in an economic resistance just to save a little money for themselves for what is happening.” Coinciding with the three -day economic breakdown is another national day of action scheduled for Saturday.
