“Our community is large and madly diverse, which is at the same time our strength and our weakness. # Activate10 is a movement that seeks to increase communication between individuals and organizations in Fremont County and promote positive action in our communities. »»
(Pavillion, Wy) – Each year, Wind River schools organize a week of service to collect funds for a member of the community in need. This year’s recipients are Barbara Clapp & Beverly Raymond.
On December 17, 2024, Barbara and her twin sister Beverly were involved in a serious car accident. These sisters are long -standing residents of our community and graduates from Morton Secondary School almost 67 years ago! The two sisters supported several broken bones of their ankles on the face which required several surgeries. With the broken bones, Barb also supported a perforated lung. BEV has recently been released to continue rehabilitation, but Barb is still in the hospital and continues rehabilitation. The two sisters are faced with months of recovery and rehabilitation.
We hope to be supporting these members of the long -standing community to help compensate for their medical expenses. Oh, have we mentioned that they were 85 years old on January 22!
The Enchères site is open until Monday, February 3 (scan the QR code below to access the auction site or click here). We will also organize a live auction and a sale of pastries at the Wind River High School this Saturday, February 1, during the high school basketball match against Saratoga.

You can consult the efforts of this week on the Wind River Facebook page.
