The ACM Awards 2025 closed with a joint performance by Rascal Flatts and Backstreet Boys.
The two groups united their forces on stage and opened with Rascal Flatts “Whats the most Whats”, before the country group played “I day you” solo.
The Backstreet Boys then delivered a high energy interpretation of their “Bigger Than Life” tube, and Rascal Flatts joined them at the end for a performance of “Life is a highway”.

Towards the end of the show, Reba Mcentire, Lainey Wilson and Miranda Lambert have joined forces to interpret their new collaboration, “Trailblazer”, featuring words that seem to relate to the experience of being a woman with country music.
“Talking about a pioneer / cutting a path both / running like a dream hunter / living on a prayer and a rhyme / You put a flag in the ground to a country to the rhythm of your own highway / to talk about a pioneer / I roll on the road that you have completed”, they sang on the chorus.

“Back here, smoking a joint with Ernest in case you do not see us on television,” wrote the artist “Need a favor” on X. “We are about to play the real one.
Earlier at night, Jelly – who danced in front of the camera – posted: “I am having fun – can you all say it?”
Alan Jackson wins the Lifetime Success Prize

Alan Jackson was honored from the Alan Jackson Lifetime Achievement Award, a new honor from the Country Music Academy.
“He won 21 Country Music Academy, but tonight, he won the ACM Lifetime Achievement Prize, such a special honor he was appointed according to him,” said host Reba Mcéntire, presenting Jackson’s performance of his hit “Remember when”.
“It’s a whole honor,” said Jackson, accepting the price. “A few years ago, one of my fans named their dog after me, and I thought it was something, but it’s really – it’s incredible.”

Miranda Lambert, the most awarded artist in ACM award history, opened his performance with “Run” from his latest album, Texas postcards.
She was then joined by Ella Langley to perform a high energy interpretation of the Breakout Hit de Lambert, “Kerosene”, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the album of the same name.

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the ACM Awards, the show opened its doors with a performance by Country Classics published since the first ceremony.
The native of Oklahoma Reba Mcéntire exclaimed “proud” to sing “Okie from Muskogee” by Merle Haggard, and Clint Black followed with a catch on the “Rhinestone Cowboy” by Glen Campbell.
Wynonna Judd sang a solo version of The Judds “why not me”, Leann Rimes interpreted his song “Blue”, Little Big Town sang their tube “Girl Crush”, then Dan + Shay then went on stage for “Tequila”.

“My husband is not here this evening, which I would have liked, but he is actually in California because he graduated from the university tomorrow, so I have to steal as soon as I am finished tomorrow morning,” she said.

Animator Reba Mcentire hit the early carpet with the boyfriend Rex Linn by his side. The country superstar sported a black sparkling costume with matching boots, while Linn wore a black jacket and a shirt, a blue tie and dark jeans.
Before the show, Mcentire told people: “I have my whole team with me, my glamorous team, my management team, I (boyfriend) Rex (Linn) with me all the time, so I’m going to have fun. And then you see your friends that you’ve seen for how many years, and then you can meet the young people who are here. So, it’s going to be a fun evening.”

The appointments of the 2025 ACM Awards were led by the singer “Not for the Wind”, Ella Langley, with eight in total.
The other nominees understand Morgan Wallen, Lainey Wilson and Cody Johnson with seven each, followed by Chris Stapleton with six as well as Riley Green and Post Malone, who each won five.
