Original story: Both Absolum and BALL x PIT recently launched on Nintendo Switch, and they’re both seriously awesome.

They’re very different games, mind you, with the first being a self-described “rogue ’em up”, mixing roguelike mechanics with classic beat ’em up action, and the second being a very deliberate cross between Vampire Survivors and Burst.

However, people seem to like them, as both have seen strong sales recently, with BALL x PIT surpassing 100,000 sales and Absolum surpassing 200,000. Well done, both!

More than 200,000 adventurers have set foot in Talamh.
From the entire Absolum team, thank you for being part of this journey! ✨

So it’s a good start, but we sincerely hope that this is just the start of something special. These are truly fantastic games, and they deserve to see sales in the millions. We think word of mouth will do them both a lot of good.

When it comes to BALL x PIT specifically, some may be waiting for the Switch 2 version, which has been confirmed to be in the works, but has yet to receive a firm release date. Luckily, the game runs great on the original Switch, so you’re in for a treat no matter where you play it.

Have you purchased any of these games yet? What do you think? Leave a comment in the usual place and let us know.
