ABC suspend Terry Moran for calling Stephen Miller a “world class hateful”

ABC News suspended the correspondent for the Terry Moran network on Sunday after writing on social networks that Stephen Miller, the Chief of the White House Defire, was “a man richly endowed with hatred capacity” and called him “a world class hate”.

Mr. Moran made these comments in an end -of -evening position on X, in which he also called President Trump as “world -class hateful”. The position was then deleted, but screenshots circulated on social networks and made a quick reprimand of Mr. Trump’s allies, including vice-president JD Vance, who called The position of Mr. Moran is an “absolutely vile smear”.

An ABC News spokesperson said on Sunday that Mr. Moran “was suspended pending more in-depth evaluation.”

“ABC News represents objectivity and impartiality in its media coverage and does not tolerate subjective personal attacks against others,” the network said in a press release. “The message does not reflect the views of ABC News and violated our standards.”

Mr. Moran, whose title is principal national correspondent, interviewed Mr. Trump in the oval office in April. He joined ABC News in 1997.

In his long post, Mr. Moran said about Mr. Miller that “you can see that his hatred is his spiritual food. He eats his hatred. “

Mr. Trump and his political movement often accuse the main press organizations of anti-conservative prejudice. In Mr. Vance’s response on Sunday, he urged the Americans to remember Mr. Moran’s comments “each time you look at the Trump administration by ABC”.

Last year, ABC News, which belongs to the Walt Disney Company, agreed to pay $ 16 million To settle a defamation trial that Trump had filed against the network on the outdoor comments of the George Stephanopoulos anchor. At the time, the agreement was considered a remarkable concession to a politician by a distribution network.

Mr. Miller, who is one of Mr. Trump’s most powerful aid, is considered the brain of the repression of the administration against immigration. He spoke a lot in recent days of defense of the federal immigration raids in Los Angeles and denounced the demonstrators who protested the actions of the government.

“Expel the invaders or go to the insurrection,” Miller wrote in an article on X on Saturday, in an apparent reference to the demonstrators.
