Abby De La Rosa doesn’t seem embarrassed to be part of a big family.
During an Instagram Live on Tuesday, the pregnant DJ’s followers asked her how she felt about Nick Cannon — who fathered multiple babies with various women, including her — having so many children.
“I grew up with such a strong sense of family!” she explained. “I have 14 aunts and uncles and hella cousins!”
She then added that she was “not looking for anyone to understand or agree” with how she felt and was simply commenting on her own family dynamic.
“For me, my kids have so many siblings, that’s cool for me,” she concluded. “Children are a blessing in any capacity.”
Last month De La Rosa, 31, revealed she was expecting October 25 again. She is already mum to one-year-old twins, Zion and Zillion, whom she shares with Cannon, 41.
Just a week after breaking the exciting news, De La Rosa and Cannon celebrated their twin sons’ first birthday at Disneyland.
The former Nickelodeon star gushed about his baby mama in an Instagram post at the time, writing, “I’ll make it a point to let the boys know how honored and privileged they are to have such a loved one. amazing, loving, strong, resilient and beautiful Mother!”
Cannon is also the father of her 11-year-old twins and Mariah Carey, Moroccan and Monroe. He also shares two children – Golden “Sagon”, 5, and Powerful Queen, 1, – with Brittany Bell.
The “Masked Singer” host is also expecting a child with model Bre Tiesi. He broke the news a month after Zen, his 5-month-old son and Alyssa Scott’s son Zen tragically died of brain cancer.
After an intense backlash over how many children he had at the same time, Cannon revealed in May that he was considering a vasectomy.
“I’m not looking to fully populate the Earth, but I’m definitely looking forward to caring for and loving all of the children I currently have,” he told E! News, noting that he is not “looking” for more children.
