Tampa, Florida (AP) – Aaron judge and New York Yankees were angry with Home Run that it was not.
The judge led a change compared to Eric Orze of Tampa Bay at the bottom of the line of the left field, above the post for lack of the Steinbrenner field.
The referees called The Ball Foul, a decision confirmed in a video review. The judge and manager Aaron Boone were convinced that it should have been the eighth circuit of the judge of the season.
“I think everyone scratches their heads but nothing I can do on this subject. They missed it and we just have to continue,” said the judge after Yankees 4-0 victory.
Boone was ejected after the referee Adam Beck called a third strike on the next ground.
“The audacity of the call is remarkable,” said Boone. “I understand, imposing, but it goes to replay and I suppose they could not find quite conclusive, so we were able to live with the call.”
The judge began to have words with Beck after the third strike called. Boone came out of the canoe and was immediately launched by Beck, then argued with the referee of the third base Scott Barry during the decision of Home Run. It was the 40th managerial ejection for Boone and first this season.
“It was a fair bullet, but that’s why you received a replay,” said the judge. “It is difficult in a situation like this where in a park of minor leagues, the false posts are not as high, which is why you have a replay, you have all the angles. It is a terrible call.”
Al MVP twice, the judge strikes 0.390 with a 25 points produced at the top of the major league.
The Yankees teammate, Cody Bellinger, was impressed by the journey, which landed in the trees beyond the left field.
“It was probably the furthest ball that I have ever seen hitting,” he said.
