Junaid on Laapataa Ladies’ loss to Sparsh Shrivastava

Laapataa Ladies, directed by Kiran Rao, is one of the most loved films of 2024. It stars Sparsh Shrivastava in the lead role. In an interview, Junaid revealed that he did a test for Laal Singh Chaddha where Kiran Rao played his mother. The duo shot a few scenes over four days for 20-minute sequences. Further in this entertainment news, Junaid Khan told Vicky Lalwani that he also auditioned for Kiran’s film 2024. Khan said, “Laapataa Ladies was a very different script. I did a screen test for the film, but Kiran just said, ‘Sparsh Shrivastava is better for the role,’ and I agree with her . He was better suited for the role.” In the same interview, Junaid revealed that Rao’s not casting him did not affect his relationship with her. He considers Kiran to be a very fun and warm person.
