A woman from Maryland faces 13 accusations in the accident who killed Khyree Jackson

The woman involved in the car accident of July 6, 2024 who killed the recruit of the Vikings Khyree Jackson, as well as two of her former high school teammates, was arrested Thursday after a large jury charged with 13 chefs accusation, including Dui and manslaughter by criminal negligence.

Prince George County Prosecutors announced that Cori Clingman had been charged almost seven months after the fatal accident that cost Jackson, Isaiah Hazel and Anthony Lytton Jr.

She stayed in detention on Thursday and was to undergo an audience on the deposit on Friday.

Clingman risks a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison.

“Each of their lives was special, important and a tragic loss for their families and our community,” said the lawyer for Prince George, Aisha Braveboy, said on Thursday at a press conference. “It was three young men who had succeeded in their lives and who had a brilliant and brilliant future in front of them. But on July 6, they were withdrawn from everyone.

The car accident occurred around 3:14 am on July 6 when the Infinity Q50 that Clingman would have led to a Dodge Charger – carrying Jackson, Hazel and Lytton – and a Chevrolet Impala.

The loader left the road and struck several strains, according to the police from the state of Maryland.

Jackson and Hazel were declared dead on the scene and Lytton died later in the hospital.

Wjla-TV reported that cars were driving together during street races before the accident.

The details of the survey remained limited, but Braveboy said that Clingman had an “at least” blood alcohol level higher than the legal limit of 0.08 percent.

“It was a horrible tragedy that should not have happened,” said Braveboy. “This is only beginning our fight to obtain justice for these three young men, their families, Wise High School, the NFL and this whole community.”

The three victims were football players, Hazel who played in Maryland and Charlotte and Lytton having spent time with the football programs in the state of Florida and Penn State.

Jackson was drafted in the fourth round of the NFL 2024 draft and participated in the OTA and the Vikings Minicamp.
