The Pitt
This may not be a news that the Max series massively popular, The Pitt has already been renewed for season 2 before season 1 even ended its 15 episodes race (the final is next week), but now we have more information on what happens after that.
During a deadline, producer R. Scott Gemmill confirmed four key elements of the coming season:
1) It is already in production before the end of season 1
2) It will take place 10 months after season 1
3) It will be 3 p.m. again, and therefore 15 episodes
4) It will take place on the weekend of July 4
The series that does on July 4 is not only the selection of vacation as if it was a special Christmas special, the fourth in July is known in emergencies as perhaps the most dangerous day of the year. For what? There are more minor things like exhaustion of heat. There are drunk accidents during charges of games across the country. And of course, there are injuries based on fireworks. You can bet that you will see more than a few of season 2, without a doubt.
Season 1 of the PitT started with a quarter of emergency work which was certainly occupied and full of intense cases, but at the end of the season, turned a completely different direction with the last expanse of episodes devoted to the management of the chaotic consequences of a mass shot nearby. The concept seemed quite telegraphiced by early focus on a child in difficulty with a successful list, but in the end, it was not that Predictable, and the attack was led by another unknown shooter, not him.
The Pitt
The Pitt is undoubtedly online to win a series of nominations at the Emmy this year to come, including one for Noah Wyle as a main actor. It became a huge surprise success in 2025, the one that nobody saw coming, and which could easily have been going wrong in a world of forgetful medical dramas and with a 24 gadget which might not have landed. Instead, the opposite has happened and you can say that it is probably the best program on television this year, and it is even ahead of what is happening during the final.
We do not know the full list of actors who will come back. It is unlikely that everyone is. On the one hand, some of the young actors can leave due to the landing of new rotations, if they do not regain a reason for them to stay. Then, there is obviously the situation with Langdon, where even if it came back for the last episodes, it is difficult to see how it would remain at a Robby given what he knows about his flight of medicine. Robby giving him a second chance would be extremely irresponsible, but who knows. It is therefore possible that the show will lose a piece of its cast and replace them with new faces. We will have to wait and see.
