Four suspects are in detention following a shooting during an illegal sale of firearms and a flight in the northeast of Virginia on Tuesday evening, which killed three people and three other injured, authorities announced on Wednesday.
“All suspects are in detention and there is no threat to public security,” the Sheriff’s office in Spotsylvania said on Wednesday morning in a social media position.
The suspects, two 16 -year -olds, a 17 -year -old and an 18 -year -old, were accused of “malicious injuries and the use of a firearm to the commission of an illegal crime assembly”, according to the Sheriff’s office.
Three are detained without deposit, the sheriff’s office said: a 16 -year -old suspect suffered a ball injury and is in a hospital.
The three people killed were two 18 -year -old men and a 20 -year -old man, according to the Sheriff office.
The shots broke out around 5.30 p.m. Tuesday in the Olde Greenwich Circle region, according to an article on the social networks of the Sheriff. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals.

“We congratulate our detectives to bring this tragedy to a closure,” said the sheriff’s office. “We would like to thank our partnership with the Fredericksburg Police Service and the Virginia State police for their help.”
On Wednesday, public schools in the city of Fredericksburg announced on his website that schools “would operate on a two -hour delay” on Wednesday to allow the school staff to “prepare our buildings and our staff to welcome students with the care and support they may need during this difficult period”.
