As for the best part of a decade, a dog has rhythm in both directions on its own on the roof of a building in Mexico City. Supplied with the lowest necessities of life by his negligent guards, the poor puppy managed to survive during all these years – but his body reflected the most sincere realities.
No one really loved him.
The frail frame of the dog was buried by long heavy layers of tangled fur, which made him be a little more than a sad and amorphous form.
According to information, the neighbors who could see the poor puppy languid on the roof have filed numerous complaints with local officials over the years, but that has not done much to save the dog from this sad situation. Finally, a family contacted SERES LIBERS ACAn animal rescue organization, to obtain aid in place.
Addressing the owners of the dog, the rescuers managed to convince them to return it.
He was finally free from the roof – but a greater transformation was still to come.
Despite the desolate state of the dog and long -term suffering, his mind remained remarkably strong. It seemed to have never lost hope that life beyond the roof was possible.
For this reason, its rescuers gave it a new name – Soñador (Spanish to Dreamer).
SERE LAVE volunteers then led Soñador to a veterinary clinic for an assessment – and to free it from the tangled fur that wrapped it.

Finally, the poor dog was finally free – losing more than 10 pounds of tangled hair thanks to this cut.
And he could not have been happier.
“He smiles every time he moves his tail,” said Renata, president of Seres Libres AC, in Dodo. “He has a lot of joy and he is ready to live again.”
As a senior dog, Soñador faces continuous health challenges, for which it is treated. But his mind remains strong, however.
“He wants to know the world,” said Renata. “His attitude is incredible.”
Now SOñador’s rescuers are working to make sure his dreams really come true.
“He spent 10 years in these horrible conditions, and he probably has only a few years of life. But, well, we are going to make the most of it,” said Renata. “He already has people who are ready to adopt him. So we are sure he will live a very happy life and he will have this happy end.”
