A person was on the plane that crashed on the roof of a Brooklyn Park house on Saturday, engulfing the structure in flames and moving two residents, the authorities announced at a Sunday press conference.
Authorities said the pilot died in the accident and that no other injury had been reported. Although the authorities have not confirmed the identity of the single-engine airplane pilot, a spokesperson for the US Bancorp said Terry Dolan, Vice-President and Director of US Bancorp, would have been the person on board.
“We are aware that the plane that crashed in Brooklyn Park on Saturday afternoon was scored in Terry Dolan, our vice-president and director of the administration,” said a statement. “Currently, the medical doctor’s office has not been able to confirm if he was on board, but we think he was.”
The plane was registered with DGW Enterprises d’Édina. According to the files of the Secretary of State of Minnesota, Terrance Dolan is listed as director of DGW Enterprises.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with him, his family and friends and anyone who may have been affected by yesterday’s tragic incident,” said Bancorp.
The Minneapolis based bank also sent an email to a declaration by CEO Andy Cecere to its employees.
