A light item on the data agenda in European commerce today

Markets are in a calmer mood with major currencies not having done much so far. The risk appears to be on the rise, with hopes of a rebound after a stutter towards the end of last week. S&P 500 futures are up 0.3%, while gold and oil prices are both down.

There are no key releases in Europe that could really shake things up. As such, trading sentiment will primarily depend on the overall market mood. Coming later this week, there will be more work topics. But for now, headlines will be few and far between to start the week.

08:00 GMT – Total SNB sight assets on April 19
1000 GMT – April CBI UK Trends, Total Orders

That’s all for the upcoming session. I wish you good days ahead and good luck in your trading! Stay safe out there.
