A call and an SMS in Sedaghat were not immediately returned.
According to KTLA, Sedaghat explained to a new video service that he left a Mexican restaurant when he stopped to try to repair a flat tire.
It was then that he said that three men accosted him.
“They put their knife on me and they caught my bag, and they took all my things and all my jewelry,” he said in the service of news.
