A man was fatally killed in Venice Beach on Wednesday evening, police announced.
The Los Angeles Police Service responded to the information that a person in Bloc 1200 on Pacific Avenue near the Westminster Dog Park around 10:20 p.m., said officer Rosario Cervantes.
The victim saw a couple arguing and tried to intervene when they were shot, according to Kcal-TV.
“He was trying to protect us all,” said Emily Trujillo at the station at the station. The victim was a well-known homeless in the region, reported the point of sale.
The police arrived and found a man with a deadly gunshot wound, but no shooter was found. No arrests have been made and the police are still looking for the shooter.
