A Fabulous Mardi Gras Before the Valentine’s Day Morning Snow Showers

Tuesday Weather Planner: A Fabulous Mardi Gras Before Valentine’s Day Morning Snow Showers

TEMPERATURES. It looks like we’re heading in a similar direction. AGAIN. Yeah, I do all these repairs. BUT WE’RE STILL IN THE MIDDLE OF THE THAW-FREEZ OF UP AND DOWN, UP AND DOWN. RIGHT. It’s February and by the time we get to the weekend you’ll have weather that seems more similar to this time of year. WE’RE TALKING ABOUT A DIVE. TEMPERATURES JUST IN TIME FOR THE WEEKEND, AND THIS MAY COINCIDE WITH A SYSTEM DIVING FROM THE NORTH. SO IF YOU’RE VALENTINE’S DAY, ONCE IT SNOWS, WE’LL REALLY BE ABLE TO SEE SOME OF IT THIS WEEKEND. Let’s see what happens over the next few days. TODAY IT’S GOING TO BE SWEET. Expect a mix of sun, clouds and temperatures rising into the upper 40s this afternoon. SO A LITTLE WARMER THAN IT SHOULD BE THIS TIME OF YEAR. EVERYTHING IS GOOD TOMORROW FOR VALENTINE’S DAY. FLURRIES EXPECTED AS THE SUN RISES IN THE MORNING. There might be a few snowflakes flying around. THIS WILL NOT AFFECT YOUR TRIP TO WORK, TO SCHOOL, HOME TO YOUR CHEMISTRY, WHATEVER YOU DO TOMORROW. Just a few flakes flying at 48 degrees. THURSDAY, A FEW RAIN SHOWERS AROUND AND THESE WILL LIVE LATE IN THE MORNING UNTIL AROUND LUNCH TIME. So let’s go straight to the radar here this morning. WE ARE FAILED THIS SYSTEM WE ARE TALKING ABOUT IN THE SOUTH. It has a much bigger impact in West Virginia, Pennsylvania. AND AS IT HEADS TOWARDS THE EAST COAST, AS WE TAKE A LOOK AT OUR FUTURE CAST, LET’S WANT TO SHOW YOU TOMORROW’S SNOW, LUCKNOW AND A GLIMPSE OF SOME THURSDAY RAIN SHOWERS. SO THIS MORNING, SKY Mostly Clear, OUR TEMPERATURES AROUND FREEZING TO START THE MORNING. THIS AFTERNOON, PARTLY CLOUDY SKY AND HIGH 40S. If you have big plans tonight, maybe you’re going to one of the Mardi Gras celebrations around town or the UC game. WE EXPECT CALM CONDITIONS FOR TUESDAY EVENING WHEN YOU WAKE UP ON VALENTINE’S DAY, FUTURECAST SHOWING A FEW FLURRIES. I REALLY DON’T THINK IT’S MUCH MORE THAN A FEW FLURRIES HERE. AS THE SUN RISES. SO BETWEEN 6:00 AM AND 9:00 AM YES, WE COULD SEE A FEW SNOWFLAKES FLYING, BUT THIS SHOULD NOT HAVE AN IMPACT ON THE ROADS. OUR ROAD TEMPERATURES WILL BE ABOVE FREEZING, SO A FEW FLAKES WILL FLY TO START YOUR VALENTINE’S DAY THEN THROUGH THE AFTERNOON. WE WILL LOOK PARTLY CLOUDY UNTIL THURSDAY. It’s a rain shower in the middle of the day. CHANCE. As we look early morning Thursday, we are dry around 10 or 11am. Rain showers are coming and they come and go just as quickly. So I even make Thursday a weather impact day because it’s a bit of a line of showers at midday. And then it feels good as we head into the weekend, we’ll keep an eye on this developing system that will come from the north and could bring us some snow, but for today, low 30s for start the day, UPPER 40S. As we enter the afternoon. AND YOUR SEVEN DAY FORECAST IS FORECASTING A FEW FLURRIES TO START VALENTINE’S DAY, A FEW RAIN SHOWERS AT NOON THURSDAY, AND WE WILL THEN WATCH THE DEVELOPMENT OF A SYSTEM THAT COULD BRING US A LITTLE SNOW FROM FRIDAY NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING. AND NOTE TEMPERATURES SATURDAY MORNING WELL BELOW FREEZING. SO IF WE END UP SEEING THIS SNOW, KATIE MIGHT ACTUALLY STICK, WHICH HAS NOT BEEN THE CASE IN MOST SYSTEMS.
