The director of a Minecraft film reacted to the chaotic scenes seen in certain cinemas while viewers interrupt projections to get up, shout and empty popcorn buckets on other people.
A Minecraft film is a success in small groups which has been executed far beyond the initial expectations, apparently fueled by its viral nature among young viewers. In particular, videos on social networks have shown that crowds are brutally reacting to the “Chicken Jockey” scene, which is now a noticeable film.
But although the trend was popular, it did not go well with all the lovers of cinema. Viewers have been removed from disruptive behavior projections and the police were called while the trend continued – climbing now to a disturbing incident where someone brought a chicken living in a projection.
Perhaps the director of Minecraft, Jared Hess, does not seem too disturbed on this subject.
“It’s far too funny,” Hess told New York Times. “It was a total explosion. I laugh each time someone sends me a new video.
“Just the fact that people make souvenirs in the cinema – that’s what it is,” said Hess. “This is why we do it. I could never have anticipated this level of passion and pleasure that occurs.”
Is it normal to throw your popcorn on other people? Hess seems to think.
“No one will be injured in popcorn,” he concluded. “Listen, when I go to the movies with my children, it’s like a massacre of popcorn that happens and they don’t throw anything, but it ends on the ground, whatever.”

As you can imagine, the success of a Minecraft film has already sparked a suite.
“Great performances raise a film that captures the many pieces of Minecraft, but not his creative spirit,” wrote Christian Donlan in a review of Eurogamer Minecraft film.
