Javier Francisco Rullan Rubert, 31, from Lithia in Tampa, Florida, had stayed at the IH Roma Z3 Hotel in Collatino, Via Claudio Truffi for several days while on vacation.

On Monday afternoon, around 4:30 p.m., hotel workers found him lying on the floor in a pool of his own blood after falling from the roof.

According to Il Messaggero, the forensic team confirmed to officers that he was “directly killed” and was alone when he climbed onto the roof of the skyscraper.
