  • I spent three nights in a Haven penthouse on the last ship of Norwegian Cruise Line.
  • Paradise is the concept of an ultra-luxury ship from Norwegian in a ship.
  • My cabin looked like a high -end hotel room with Butler products and Occitane.

A butler. The bedside lamps cost each of the hundreds, even thousands of dollars. A giant balcony with a panoramic view of the ocean.

No, it’s not a yacht. This is, perhaps in a surprising way, a new cruise ship of 4,482 efforts – Norwegian Aqua.

However, there is a problem: all of his cabins do not have these frills. They are exclusively available in the ultra-luxury concept “Ship in a Ship” by Aqua.

Only 123 of the 1,387 cabins of the ship are in this class, cut behind glass doors locked by keys. And intimacy in a floating city is not cheap.

Paradise is exhausted for many cruises of the Norwegian week Aqua 2025 in Port Canaveral, Florida.

Haven Cabins customers have a private solar terrace with an infinity pool.

The most affordable option on the left, a balcony cabin, starts around $ 5,020 per person – steep compared to standard interior cabins, which cost about $ 1,310 per person on the same trip.

Haven Cabins includes a butler, a concierge service, a private lounge, a restaurant, a bar and a pool terrace.

More money means more space.

Haven Penthouse with balcony suites varies from 368 to 418 square feet.

I spent three complementary nights in a “haven penthouse in balcony” during the Norwegian Aqua test in April.

The cabin category extends up to 418 square feet with a balcony up to 134 square feet.

The usual interior housing of the ship are not greater than 263 square feet, while the non haven balcony options are, at most, 358 square feet with a balcony of 69 square feet.

I was on my just part of luxury cruises, but even my Silversea and Regent Seven Seas Grandeur Cabins were smaller than that.

And more space means more equipment.

The cabin is delivered with a Nespresso machine and a stored mini-refrigerator.

Brittany Chang / Business Insider

The cabin is delivered with a Nespresso machine, a mini-scored mini-refrigerator, three types of free bottled water (a sparkling, two motionless) and sweet night treats delivered to your dining table.

The drawers are entwined, the lights are dimmable and the curtains can be checked with a bedside button.

Good luck to find all these amenities in non -haven accommodation.

Take advantage of your morning espresso on the balcony.

Balconies in the cabin category vary from 84 to 134 square feet.

It is so large, the outdoor furniture occupies only three fifths of space.

Head inside if you prefer to relax in air conditioning. There are many seats there.

The padded bench is located next to the TV.

The room can accommodate up to three people. However, there is enough space for double.

Use the dining table if you have ordered a room service. There is also a bench behind him, although his hidden drawers make him better for storage.

Or stretch your legs on the integrated sofa next to the entertainment console. Both are raised, leaving enough space to store your bags below.

No need to get out of bed to turn off the lights.

The penthouse has a King bed.

Just roll by your side to find the control panels. With a few presses, you can turn off the bridges above, mitigate the bedside lamps and light the night lights.

When it’s time to wake up, use these controllers to raise the electricity failure and transparent curtains.

Most importantly, the bedside panel has enough sales outlets to load your phone, laptop, smartwatch, And Intelligent ring.

Or keep all your technologies connected to the office.

The office is located next to the bathroom and opposite the bed.

This is also where you can call your butler to pack the help or the concierge to make a spa reservation.

If you prefer to sit for your morning care routine, use the integrated light vanity mirror. The toilets are the only seats in the bathroom (I do not judge multitascules). But at least, it is quarantined behind closed doors, what any couple will tell you is an underestimated bathroom feature.

A spacious bathroom for a spacious penthouse.

The bathroom has a long sink with two taps.

The shower is both spacious (with seats) and flexible (with two shower head options – a cascade and a pocket computer).

Some cruise cabins offer only two in bodily wash and shampoo. Here, they are kept separate, in addition to the conditioner and the lotion – all of the Occitan in Provence.

A hand soap is for peasants (people in ordinary cabins). Haven guests obtain both liquid foams and bar.

No need to worry about storage.

The cupboard is behind sliding doors in semi-opaque glass.

Brittany Chang / Business Insider

The closet the size of an apartment has hangers and large drawers. Movement detection lights facilitate navigation, especially when you are looking for your post-speaking stuffed robe.

Small details – such as lighting options, modern design and names of the name brand – make the cabin feels more like a charming hotel.

The penthouse is available on bridges from 12 to 15.

The decor is minimal, relying on colored accent walls to embellish the room. It looks more like a studio in an interior design brochure than a cruise cabin.

In the end, is a room suitable for Pinterest necessary for a fun vacation? No. Did I need two hand soaps and three varieties of bottled water? Absolutely not.

But if you and your partner pay more than $ 10,000 for a seven -day summer vacation in the “penthouse”, I suppose it is just to expect an unnecessary excess of unnecessary equipment. The vacuum cleaner in these luxurious resources will make you feel like a royalty – a good price to pay for the price you paid.

In addition, if you don’t like your room, there is always the private living room nearby.
